Building on the success of the Peter Henderson Blackwood Chanter, Alastair Dunn has taken feedback
from top soloists around the world to help him create the R. G. Hardie Blackwood Pipe Chanter.
The R. G. Hardie Blackwood Chanter has been designed to tune at a pitch of 480-482hz, depending on the type of reed used. In comparison to the Peter Henderson Blackwood Chanter, it will pitch 2hz higher using the same reed. This new Blackwood chanter has been in development for the past 4-5 years and will bring a different option for pipers looking to achieve a competitive advantage.
