CONNOR SINCLAIR

Connor hails from Crieff in Perthshire.

He is a highly accomplished solo piper, having won the Gold Medal at the Northern Meeting for piobaireachd as well the March, Strathspey and Reel at the 2019 Glenfiddich Piping Championships. He is a former member of Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band winning the 2014 and 2016 World Pipe Band Championships.

He holds a degree in Scottish Traditional Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is a multi-instrumentalist member of the dynamic Scottish folk four-piece Gnoss, who were nominated as Up and Coming Artist of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

Connor was a featured artist on our website in 2011. With a fitting title “A Young Piper With A Promising Future”, he is now winning the top prizes in premier solo piping competitions. You can read the full article here.

As well as providing expertise and advice on our solo and pipe band products, Connor has provided invaluable insight into improving the sound of our bagpipes and B flat pipe chanter for integrating with other instruments.
