Welcome to our newest R.G. Hardie & Co. Champion!

R.G. Hardie & Co are delighted to announce a new partnership with Connor Sinclair. Connor will work closely with R.G. Hardie & Co. to develop new piping products that will enhance both solo and band’s players’ collection of instruments.

“I played with Connor in Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band and he was also a Hardies featured artist in 2011.” said Alastair Dunn, Director of R.G. Hardie & Co. “From a young age he has demonstrated a natural flair and musicianship for bagpipes which was highlighted when he won the prestigious Glenfiddich March, Strathspey and Reel in 2019.  He is a fantastic addition to the Hardie team, and I look forward to working with him on refining our range of products.”

“I have played Hardie’s bagpipes and chanters from an early age, which are of the highest standards” said Connor Sinclair, R.G. Hardie & Co. Champion. “I look forward to assisting Alastair with developing new products, in particular, to help pipers perform with other instruments.”

As one of the most exciting young pipers on the scene, Connor has won top prizes in both solo and band competition. When not competing, Connor tutors pipers of all levels and ages at the National Piping Centre and is a member of the Celtic trad group Gnoss. As a multi-instrumentalist Hardies is excited to draw on Connor’s expertise to further improve our range of products.

Connor has a tune on his set of PH2HT Peter Henderson Heritage Silver Bagpipes and R.G. Hardie Infinity Blackwood Pipe Chanter.
