We were delighted to have a visit from Adrian Edmundson as part of the ITV series Ade in Britain. The series features Adrian touring to discover everything British. In this episode he visits the West of Scotland where he goes to sea with the local scampi fisherman, learns about haggis, cooks up a treat for a local fiddle player and visits the Hardie’s factory to make and play our bagpipes.
During his visit Adrian was taken on a short tour of our factory, learning about the processes involved in making a set of bagpipes and shown wood turning by Duncan Campbell where he then turned his own piece. The segment finishes with a demonstration by Alastair Dunn and Adrian then attempts to play a tune.
The show was aired on the 29th of March 2013.
